When + How to self-care:

You have been feeling out of your element, you eating poorly, your skin is breaking are more tired than usual…having headaches? OR maybe you Don’t even notice any changes and someone else close to you notices.  You may be feenin’ for some self-care!  So if you are wondering  some simple ways to self-care and show up for yourself to help ease the self- abuse?  Here are some great ways to self-care and show up for yourself…

1. Take a walk- get some fresh air!

  • Prevent or manage various conditions, including heart disease, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes.
  • Strengthen your bones and muscles.
  • Improve your mood.
  • Improve your balance and coordination.

2. Call A friend

Calling a friend is always a great way to ground yourself and and ask how they are and genuinely is a forsure mood booster

3. Do something kind to others

You don’t have to volunteer all day at a can do something kind for someone else like buy a coffee for the person behind you in line or hold a door open for is the little things that count and make an major impact!

4. Sleep in

Start your day off slow..take the time needed to really get yourself together….make coffee or tea..sip it slow…breathe your way out of bed

5. Do any positive activity that you enjoy

You like to read? Read a book…you like to fish? Go fishing.. Basically just give your phone the silent treatment to disconnect! Unplug and get lost in something you enjoy.. that is the best way to care for yourself!!
